It is only natural to be expressive in everyday life, but that doesn’t mean we have to deal with the lines that develop over time forever. Facial fillers are a great way to give the appearance of a well-rested and refreshed look.

Juvederm Collection

Restylane® Family of Fillers

In addition to Botox® Cosmetic, we also offer its sister products and #1 selling Hyaluronic Acid facial fillers, the Juvéderm® Collection. Hyaluronic acid is found in our bodies naturally, however by the time we reach our 20s, it starts to break down and the fullness we once had has started to diminish. This collection offers an array of products each specifically designed to add volume to certain areas which include the cheeks, lips, nasal labial “smile lines” and marionette lines. We proudly offer the entire Juvéderm® Collection including, Juvéderm® XC, Juvéderm® Ultra XC, Juvéderm Voluma®, Juvéderm Vollure™ and Juvéderm Volbella®. The best way to learn which is the best product for your needs is to schedule your complimentary consultation.

As Allergan puts it, “Everyone will notice, but no one will know.”

We proudly offer our Juvéderm® patients the opportunity to participate in Allergan’s Brilliant Distinctions® Program, a points program to receive money off future treatments (Subject to program rules).

What to know about Filler Treatments (FAQ’s)

Does filler treatment hurt?

This product entails a bit more than a Botox® treatment. Still, the discomfort is minimal. Our highly trained nurses are aware of the discomfort that injectable fillers might cause.  Therefore, they have multiple methods to ease patient discomfort which will be discussed and utilized whenever necessary.

What’s the difference between Juvéderm® and Restylane®?

Think of both products as flavor choices. Everyone has their favorite and for different reasons. We’ve heard patients who prefer one over the other for certain treatment areas and we will work with you if you have individual preferences.  However, for those open to alternative solutions, our nurses are quite capable in offering expert opinions.

How much filler will I need?

This all depends on your starting point and your desired result. One of our registered nurses will be happy to give you a complimentary assessment and give you their suggested treatment plan.

How long does it last?

This question is very commonly asked, but harder to answer. With optimal correction and maintenance touch ups in between, the manufacturer states certain fillers can last 9+ months. Since individual metabolism varies from one person to the next, some patients will find that a filler will last longer (or less) for them in comparison to a friend or family member. It is also well known that product lasts longer in some areas than in others. Additionally, some patients also find a certain type of filler lasts longer or less than another type.

Any down time?

Most of the time you can resume your normal activities immediately.  However, occasionally bruising and/or swelling can persist for several days. Therefore, we recommend scheduling an appropriate time that allocates for recovery, particularly before any special events.

Preparing for treatment

Aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo, ginger, flaxseed, and other anti-inflammatories can lead to increased bruising and swelling.  This is also true for anticoagulation therapy prescribed by your doctor.  If you are taking any of these medications, discuss this with our Registered Nurses during your initial consultation.  When these medications can be halted without risking your health, you will be advised to stop taking them 1-2 weeks prior to treatment.

We also ask our patients to avoid consuming wine the night prior.

Filler and other treatments

Filler and Botox Cosmetic® are commonly injected in the same sitting, if not treating a mutual area.

Skincare treatment is recommended a minimum of 48 hours before/after a filler treatment of 1 ml or less. However, IF you receive 2 ml’s or more of filler in a sitting, we recommend waiting a minimum of 2 weeks before/after.

Laser Hair Reduction treatment should be done a minimum of 2 weeks before/after your filler treatment.

What to expect after Filler treatment

Bruising, swelling (sometimes causing unevenness), and mild tenderness are the most common side effects after a filler treatment. These can take a few days to a few weeks to subside. Occasionally, your service provider may provide you with specific post-injection instructions when they feel it’s necessary. If it’s your first time being injected, we will suggest a follow up visit 2 weeks post-injection to view the results. Depending on the results, there is a chance that your service provider may suggest additional treatment. *Additional charges apply if additional treatment is needed
